SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS
During May, Sunday School classes will be going through Enduring Faith Unit 6 Les-sons 3-6: Lesson 3, "A Whirlwind Ascent - Elijah Is Taken to Heaven"; Lesson 4, "Healing Waters - Naaman and Elisha"; Lesson 5, "Unwilling Prophet - Jonah"; Lesson 6, "Promising Prophet - God Calls Isaiah

Important Sunday School Dates

  • Sunday, June 11 -- Year-end Sunday School party. Lots of fun, so make sure the chil-dren are able to attend.

  • Sundays from June 18 through September 3 -- Summer Sunday School. We will be reading stories from "New Testament Storybook for Kids".

  • Sunday, September 17 -- Join us as we kick-off another great year of Sunday school. This date is one week later than in past years due to the Zion 125th Anniversary week-end on September 9-10th.

Zion Lutheran Church
The heart and soul of our worship is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God comes to us in worship to forgive our sins, strengthen our faith, and equip us for the challenges and opportunities for the week ahead. Our worship times are 8:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a Bible Study for adults and Sunday School for children of all ages at 9:30. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at both services every week. Sunday morning worship is the highlight of the week at Zion Lutheran Church!!! We hope you will be able to join us! Each Wednesday this year (2014), we also have a 7:00 p.m. service. This service is shorter than our weekend service, in order to accommodate families with young children.
