We are wild for Jesus!  And kids won’t want to miss a minute of this Big Jungle Adventure.  Children learn important lessons about Jesus’ amazing love for them through interactive and engaging activities all day, every day.  Check out all the interesting things we will be learning...!

Day One:  God takes care of us through Jesus, our Savior
On our first day of adventure, we will visit Falls National Park.  The Big River running through the park cuts through a rock escarpment only 6 meters wide!  Kiki, a medium sized antelope, will escort us on our way.
We begin our day studying Exodus 2: 1 – 10 where children will learn about how Baby Moses was rescued in the Nile River by an unexpected person.   Just as God took care of Moses, Jesus cares for us today!  We have nothing to fear!

Memory verse:  1 Peter 5:7, “[Cast] all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.”

Preschool Memory verse:  “Jesus cares for you.”

Day Two:  Jesus rescues us from our enemies –
sin, death and the devil

Our journey continues from Falls National Park to Jinja (which means “rock” or “place of flat rocks”).  This is one of the few places we can cross the Big River on foot.  Humphrey the hippo will join us today, but watch out!  Hippos are cute but can also be very dangerous! Our studies today continue with Moses crossing the Red Sea in Exodus 14:  10 - 29.  Moses and the Israelites have the entire Egyptian Army after them!  But God protects His people and rescues them from the hand of Pharaoh’s army.  Jesus, though his death and resurrection, has saved US from our enemies – sin, death and the power of the devil!!  How awesome is that??!! Memory Verse:  Psalm 18:2, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.”

Preschool Memory Verse: “The Lord is my rock.”

Day Three:  Jesus is the Light of life that we share with others
We are almost halfway through our adventure, but we still have a long way to go.  Today we journey to the Impenetrable Forest Park.  The terrain here is difficult and rugged and dark.  Bobo, the gorilla, lives here and will help guide us through this deep, dark place. The Sermon on the Mount will be the topic of study today, found in Matthew 5: 14 – 16 and John 8: 12.  Here, Jesus tells us we are the light of the world.  If we know and believe the Good News that Jesus is our Savior, we will want to do things pleasing to God.  Those in darkness will see that light coming through you – and that is pleasing to God!Memory Verse: Matthew 5:14–16, “You are the light of the world. . . . Let your light shine before others.”

Preschool Memory verse: “Let your light shine.”

Day Four:  Jesus rose from the dead to save us
The most remote part of the country, Valley National Park, is where we go today.  Flash, the cheetah and the fastest land mammal on earth will escort us – but put your running shoes on because he runs fast! Today, we study John 20: 1 – 10 and 19 – 21 where we learn about Peter and John and how they quickly ran to the tomb of Jesus – only to find it empty!  Christ has risen!!  He has risen indeed!! Alleluia!!

Memory Verse: Luke 24:34, “The Lord has risen indeed.”

Day Five:  Jesus, our Savior, prepares our heavenly home
Our final journey takes us to The Mountains of the Moon, the highest mountain range in the area.  Look up!  Do you see Ruby?  You can’t miss our brightly colored guide.  She is a Rwenzori Truaco bird found only in the Mountains of the Moon! Our final study is about John’s vision of the new heavens and the new earth in Revelation 21: 10 – 22: 5.  We are invited to imagine what this most wonderful place will be like.  However, our ultimate reward is when Jesus returns again and gives us the crown of life.  Come, Lord Jesus, come!

Bible Memory Verse: Revelation 2:10, “Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
