Every three years, our Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod meets in convention to determine mission and ministry priorities for the coming three years. This year, we will gather in Tampa under the theme “Joy:fully Lutheran.”

As part of the preparation for the triennial convention, LCMS households, congregations and organizations are invited and encouraged to participate in a Synodwide gathering of special gifts called the National Offering. The 2019 National Offering theme is “Joy to the World.”

Zion will collect gifts for the LCMS National Offering this Sunday via a plate in the church narthex.  Please note:  Checks should be made out to "The Lutheran Church -- Missouri SynodNOT "Zion".  Gifts to the National Offering can also be made at any time via the form in Sunday's bulletin, or online at lcms.org/givenow/NO2019.

Your gifts will empower the work God has given us to do in His name to bring joy to the world, as we vigorously make known the Good News of Jesus Christ, that all might rejoice and give thanks to God our heavenly Father.
