Making a difference for foster children here in Pittsburgh
Hello! My name is Alethea Carroll and I am a senior at Redeemer Lutheran School. I am working on a senior project that focuses on how to make a positive impact on foster children here in Pittsburgh.
Many foster children are pulled away from their home without warning, explanation, and time to collect their belongings. In this scary and complicated situation, even the small things such as pj's can provide comfort to these kids.
December 9th through January 6th I will be collecting pajamas for children ranging in all sizes and I will be happy to receive monetary donations from those who are not able to purchase them. The pj's must be new or unused.
All donations will be given to Foster Love Project an amazing nonprofit located in Dormont who provides foster families with the supplies they need to take care of their children.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
