Zion's Nursery During 2nd Service

Zion's Nursery During 2nd Service
Starting July 19th we will be offering a Nursery for children ages infant to 2 years. This will allow parents of small children to participate in church with no distractions. Parents will drop their children off prior to church beginning and pick them up as soon as service is complete. If there are any problems or the child needs a diaper change you will be paged via cell phone text.

We are still looking for volunteers for this ministry. Please sign up in the narthex if you would like to volunteer your time.

Random Notes from Zion's Bulletin

Random Notes from Zion's Bulletin
First of all, you should know that nearly every Sunday, Advent and Lent bulletin from the past 3 years is posted on the Zion website. You can find them under the "For Members" tab. Select "Sunday Bulletins."

DID YOU KNOW that we are planning a men’s retreat for the spring AND a Mission/ Outreach Conference for our church and our sister congregations to get people excited about and equipped to speak the name of Jesus? We are! Please keep the ministry of our Lord Jesus through Zion in your prayers… there’s a lot going on!

INTERESTED IN JOINING ZION? If you are interested in becoming a member of Zion, or simply want to know more about what we believe, teach and confess, please contact Pastor Duncan or the Church Office. We’d love to share more about who we are and, more importantly, who Jesus is and what he has done for you!!

NURSERY!!! Located downstairs, you can listen to the service and keep your little ones entertained with the many toys we have for them there. The nursery is also staffed during the Bible Study hour for your convenience.

MEN’S BIBLE BREAKFAST is back at it! Come hungry and ready to discuss the sermon text for the coming week. Breakfast is on the house; the conversation is all yours! Saturday, 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall.

GOT CARE? Everyone goes through hard times. Those times can feel like they will last forever and that there is no way out. It’s in those times that God puts people into our lives to be his hands and feet, to walk with us and help carry our burdens. Stephen Ministry exists to provide Christ-centered care for people going through hard times. If you would be interested in either becoming a Stephen Minister, or if you would like to explore the option of having a Stephen Minister, please contact Pastor Duncan. Your conversation and involvement with Stephen Ministry will be completely confidential.

VICARAGE! Have questions about the Vicarage Program? We will be having an informal Q and A about the Vicarage Program after the late service on March 3rd in the sanctuary. Come with your questions, or if you just want to learn more about this wonderful ministry opportunity.

CALM. Thinking about going on the Mission Trip this summer (7/28-8/3) but still have some unanswered questions? Then come to the first (of several) informational meetings about the Mission Trip. We’ll be meeting in the Conference Room after the late service on February 24th.

NURSERY!!! Located downstairs, you can listen to the service and keep your little ones entertained with the many toys we have for them there. If you would like, ask an usher to show you how to get to the nursery.

SAVE THE DATE Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) would like you to join them in Pittsburgh on June 27-30, 2013 for their national convention.

The Nursery is Open!

The Nursery is Open!
You're at Church and you don't want to miss the service. But now your little angel starts to fuss and cry. You don't want to disrupt the service, but you don't want to miss it either, after all, it was probably a struggle to get here in the first place. Don't you wish there was a solution!

How about a nursery, away from the sanctuary with the sound-system piping in the service. Once you're little one settles down you can rejoin the rest of the congregation in the sanctuary, nothing having missed everything. We're so glad you joined us!
